Getting back-links for your blog or forum is not so easy. You won't get as detailed advice on blog or forum especially when it is related to SEO and back links. SEO/Back link expertise is one of the most selling businesses online so getting detailed information for free is very unlikely. What you will always get is just the general information and you can gather this information on most SEO websites and use it in your favor.

There are many ways with which you can get backlink for yourself. Some of the proven ways of backlink building are:

RSS Submission to RSS Directories
Submit your blog or forum feed to RSS directory. You can even use services like pingoat, pingomatic or pingmyblog services. If you have static site (with no feed support) then you may not able to submit your site to RSS directory, you have to create feed for your static site using some of the tools available.

Build multiple blogs

Many Social networks have high PR and offer do-follow links in profile box. If you can sign up and be active on those social networks then you can get some High PR backlinks to yourself.

But if your blog post is worthy of attention then you can create story on social bookmarking sites and this way you can even generate traffic for yourself. Remember, don’t post too much of stories of your site cause that way you’ll be caught by community as spammer.

You can create a lot of back-links to your own site if you can write good lenses for niche which is related to your site.

Forums
